This event is the result of a partnership between the Georgia CIO Leadership Association (GCLA) and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). The goal of the event is to connect pre-qualified TAG-member companies with Georgia's CIOs. For the CIO it is a unique opportunity to hear from TAG-approved "vendor" companies. This program will also give CIOs the opportunity to hear about new technologies from smaller companies that would not usually be seen in a crowd. Following the event there will be a cocktail reception and an opportunity to visit our TAG member company exhibit booths.
For the companies, this is the ultimate opportunity. Three to five TAG-member companies will be selected to present their solutions to a prestigious group of Georgia CIOs and their teams, CEOs, CTOs, TAG Board Members, Sponsors, selected companies and special guests. Companies will be selected based on submitted RFIs and given support and counsel on their presentations preceding the event by the ATDC. On November 11th, the selected companies will present to a group of leaders from Georgia's best companies. Following the event, every company will receive a ‘report card' from the audience and will be noted on the TAG website as being a selected company.
ATDC will be working with TAG and GCLA on this event. They will be providing pitch/presentation training to the selected companies.TAG and GCLA would like to thank Charles Ross, Cindy Cheatham, Marian Lucia, and Sandy Hofmann.
Interested companies must submit a completed RFI response by 5pm on Ocotber 13, 2008. To be eligible to participate, your company must be a TAG Corporate Level 1, CL-2, or Premier Corporate member.
Smaller companies and Start-up Members with less than $1 million in annual sales may apply for an exception to the membership requirement. To apply for the exemption, please include short justification within your RFI. All presenting companies, event those that are given an exception, must have, at minimum, an Individual membership.
Your company must also be available to present on the evening of November 11. You may be required to present for the selection committee and you should also be available for coaching the week of November 3rd.
