Bob Johnson is an Audit Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP with more than 29 years of experience, serving clients in a variety of industries including high technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, and services. He is the partner-in-charge of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications attest practice in Atlanta, and is the partner-in-charge of the Emerging Growth and Venture-backed market unit of the Atlanta office. He has been a lead partner on both audits and consultation engagements regarding internal control under Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. Over the last 14 years as an audit partner, he has also assisted more than 12 clients with initial public offerings and has extensive experience in Securities and Exchange Commission matters. Further, over that time, he has gained extensive experience serving multinational clients, coordinating audits for more than nine multinational clients in over 15 countries.
Bob was one of six accountants in the Southeast named by Digital South magazine as one of the most influential people in the southeastern technology community. He was also named one of Atlanta’s “Who’s Who” in the Atlanta Technology Community by the Atlanta Business Chronicle (several years).
Bob has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from North Carolina State University.
Bob and his wife Sherry have one daughter and reside in Duluth, Georgia.
